Before enabling the trading bot, Archlord has to be set in a very particular mode. A few elements of the screen have to be properly set up so the bot can find them. At the same time, CyanoBot's "Trade" page must have all sales parameters configured for the type of trading and the strategy that has to be followed.
Configuring Archlord
| • | Configure Archlord to run in full screen (Windowed = Off), 1024 x 768 x 32 bit, Low texture, and slide the Speed vs. Quality indicator to optimize for speed. |

| • | you must position your character close enough to a Merchant to be able to open its Merchant's Store window. |
| • | your character must be at least level 7, possess the ransacking skill, which must placed on slot "-" of the 1st row. This skill is not used for actual ransacking, rather it serves to intentionally generate messages on the right side of the screen and force all other messages to scroll up, so the bot can detect new messages, such as sales alerts, full inventory warnings, and sale confirmations. |
| • | it is recommended that you face a solid object (i.e. wall) during trading to prevent the bot from clicking into the landscape. |
| • | you must have enough gold to buy at least 10 of the potions that you wish to trade. Buy them manually before you enable the bot! |

In-game Windows
| • | The Inventory, Sales, and Merchant's Store windows must be properly aligned at the top-left of the screen, in the exact order shown below, and tightly close to each other but without overlapping. |
| • | Inventory must be set on Bag 1 and must not contain any items. |
| • | Sales window and Store scroll bars must be positioned at the top. |
| • | 10 slots of either the Inventory (Bag 1) or the Sales window must be manually filled with potions of the type configured for sale. |
Slots
The Ransacking skill must be placed on slot "-", and you must possess the Gathering knife in your Inventory (in a different bag than 1st).
Game Options
Make sure to block all possible options from the "Function tab" of the "Game Options" window in Archlord, so that other players can't interrupt your trading by inviting you to join parties, guilds etc.
