Saving Screen Shots

Top  Previous  Next

Screen shots are useful means to diagnose certain problems.

In the "ScreenShot" tab you can view the last screen shot automatically taken by CyanoBot during its session. You can also force the bot to take a screen shot by pressing the <CTRL> + <numerical *> keys. You can then save the screenshot to a jpeg file using the "Save" button at the top of this tab. The picture will be saved in the CyanoBot's installation directory.

We encourage you to share your screenshots with us when requesting support.

Once you've saved the screenshot, upload it to a photo-sharing site, such as www.tinypic.com, then post a link to it in our forum.

Besides being a quick way to check that the bot is actually able to read the game's screen and help you with troubleshooting, the screen shots are also useful when trying to find out the coordinates of a trading item in the merchant's Store window. By hovering the mouse over the captured image you can see the coordinates and RGB color value of each pixel.
